"As above, so below ...the within of things is as the without of things." This is written about by Hermes Trismegistus on the Emerald Tablet. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_Tablet I'm no scholar but I intuitively knew this somewhere in my 20's or 30's and have only recently found the ancient text to support my insight. I thank Rick Levine, Astrologer, for mentioning this in his recent YouTube video of August's astrology. He further added one does not create the other, they are the same and there is a beauty in this; I'll call it the beauty of creation.
This is pretty amazing in that I never had the chance to attend college when I was younger, never stumbled upon this information or heard this anywhere...but I somehow knew it. Let me clarify, I first thought that the cosmos was mirrored in our bodies. Eventually I drew the conclusion that all is the same...it's a glorious creation that we may, or may not, come to understand when we pass from this existence. It remains to be seen if we are living in a hologram (a modern day supposition) and continue to exist only as long as we remain within it, or if death takes us beyond the creation or hologram. In recent years, many have begun to talk about us all being one and that appears to be yet another modern day advancement of the same ancient alchemical works by Hermes and others.
In terms of inventions, it has long been proposed that the reason many seem to come up with similar ideas around the same time is due to this "oneness". Oh, it's not usually stated that way but that the information is floating in the ethers for those open minded souls to find. First one to the patent office is the one to benefit most! As an aside, in my Human Design reading, I learned that all of my ideas may not be mine. I may pass through a room and then have an idea but if I think about it a few days, I will come to the conclusion it wasn't mine but someone else's that I picked up on. If it was truly mine, the way to execute it would reveal itself without a great deal of effort.
Love musing over philosophical, alchemical and psychological theories and arriving at my own conclusions; which, it seems, are only extensions of the whole/the one and never entirely my own insight.

Where Do I Begin...
Where do I begin to make a difference in the world? There are so many needs that it is overwhelming to ponder that question! Just this morning I watched a short video on how carbon is cleansed from our atmosphere by whales, but whaling continues to deplete the numbers of whales. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M18HxXve3CM Meanwhile, it's summer and the Faroe Islands are once again slaughtering whales and dolphin. I also read a Facebook post by Geoengineering Watch about chemtrails and how it's a military project.
Add to that the violence that is proliferating in the United States at this time...it seems to be a throwback to the race riots of the late '60's. On my personal neighborhood level I am, it seems, surrounded by elderly people who are on extremely strong drug cocktails and/or psychotropic drugs. Bi-polar disorder seems to be rampant these days...was it just not known or diagnosed when I was younger? Is it the drug industry's plan to make the population dependent on some type of drug? This, of course, is seemingly necessary now because of the lack of adequate treatment centers for mental disorders. Or, perhaps, are the mental disorders the result of chemtrails and geoengineering. Or perhaps due to a food supply which is devoid of nutrients but chock full of chemicals.
So let's see, that's at least one common denominator...chemicals. Chemicals in the earth and therefore our food, as well as chemicals in our sky and the chemicals we spend a fortune on in the form of drugs. Unfortunately, I don't feel qualified to do much more than protest or simply avoid as much of those as I can and help get the word out to others.
Most would advise me to do what I can in my local world to make this little corner a better place. I do that by regularly volunteering at two local organizations each week and occasionally registering voters. It doesn't feel like enough, though I know it is better than nothing. With limited energy and limited resources, it's the best I can do. Since I cannot afford to donate much to causes I believe in, I feel volunteering is a valid alternative...my time is valuable, as are my talents.
What do you do to contribute locally or globally? Are there more effective ways to contribute? Do you have ideas about how to peacefully transform the world?
